The need for ongoing CPD within the education sector not only includes a focus on teaching and learning, but wider training disciplines including the emotional health and wellbeing of students, safeguarding, SEND and a greater awareness of legislative requirements from the Department for Education and Ofsted. Traditional skillsets need to keep pace with these changes and increasingly, there is a requirement to equip children with wider skills including resilience, flexibility, teamwork and problem solving.
We developed a bespoke online CPD portal for South Bank Multi Academy Trust (now Excel Learning Trust) so their workforce is able to view every development opportunity and register for sessions using our online booking system. Session organisers are then able to communicate directly with registered delegates and share updates or handouts prior to the event – and also follow up afterwards with feedback requests and information linked to additional training opportunities.
